Your favorite little bites are incredibly tasty and just irresistible but, to be honest, they mostly contain a great deal of calories you really don't need to take. They are full of white flour, sugar, eggs and oil, and although this combination taste appealing, it is a real calorie bomb. Replacing some of those ingredients and making low fat muffins could be a good idea.

Low fat muffins are equally tasty and equally easy to prepare, but they contain nutritionally valuable ingredients and less fat. Only 100 grams of oil contains 900 calories. Cutting the amount of oil in half will significantly reduce the total amount of calories in your favorite dessert. Fewer eggs used will attribute to their softness, and reduce your cholesterol as well.

People are more concerned about their diet and the total amount of calories their food contains. Besides, empty calories just make you fat, they don't give you valuable nutritional substances your body needs to be healthy and to function properly. Fat contains the largest portion of calorie value, but you can also replace other empty calories with valuable alternatives.

Replacing a part of sugar with honey and dried and fresh fruits will make your snacks even better. Nuts, whole grains, raisins and grated carrot will be a great addition to your diet. Fibers are essential for your overall health condition. Besides, removing just a couple of hundreds calories from your daily diet will make you lose a pound or two every single mounts, without any special diet plan.

All nuts contain valuable substances. Nuts can replace a great portion of oil used in your recipe. If you add dried fruits and some apple juice in, your treats will become tasty and healthy bites your palate will be more than satisfied with. Don't forget about red and blue berries. They are full of antioxidants your body will surely appreciate.

Honey, dried fruits and brown sugar are healthy alternatives for refined sugar. They contain minerals and vitamins essential for your health, and provide really good taste. When buying dried fruits, make sure to buy organic ones without sugar added. Chop them and add to your mixture. They will replace a part of sugar and improve the taste.

You can use your old recipes and replace some of usual ingredients with healthy alternatives, and your favorite treats will become even tastier.
