Hot pot meals are meals especially stew that are prepared in a special way that is quite different from the normal cooking methods. It involves preparation of stew at the dining table using a hot pot or steamboat as it is commonly referred to as. The steamboat is placed at the center of the table or stand and kept simmering. The pot is kept hot using various fueling methods such as hot coal. The other ingredients are then placed around the steamboat and continue to cook as the steamboat steams. The hot pot for sale dishes are very common with the Asian cultures.

Egg dumplings, meat, mushrooms, vegetables and the seafood are among the major ingredients that are used for this practice. The eastern cultures are very common to this practice and are identified with it very much. The practice has grown from just home preparation to even commercial purposes for sale. The meals are highly consumed at winter.

For over a thousand years now, the East Asian cultures have carried out the practice and perfected every art of it. The major material used in the earlier times however was meat as it is the most available. As the times have continued to change, various variations too have been made too to feature in new types of ingredients especially the seafood.

Technology advancement has enabled modification of the steamboat. The coal using steamboat is cumbersome since it requires constant refilling and is sooty. Modern homes and restaurants have adopted the use of electric, gas and induction cookers for more efficiency. The gas cookers and electric cookers are relatively fast and efficiently as well as increases production.

When preparing a meat dish, the meat should be kept fresh. Different meat types can be used for this process. These include; beef, mutton, chicken, lamb and even duck meat. Sliced meat is the best to use as it cooks much faster that whole bunches. Vegetables should also be every fresh and are loaded into the cooking pot individually each at a time. The time required to complete the cooking is approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Different regions and areas differ in the way they carry out the practice. This is majorly because different ingredients are available across the world. Traditions also differ and thus societies carry out their practices in different ways. It is however common for the practice to place the steamboat at the middle of the table while the other materials surround it.

Restaurants have adopted the use of commercial cookers to prepare these means for sale. There are many people who love the meals but have no knowledge on how to prepare them. They can therefore find these meals at the bistros.

The meals have gained a worldwide fan base and more people are learning to prepare them. Hot pot for sale meals however requires expertise and some professionalism to prepare. The meals are often quite affordable and definitely tantalizing especially when prepared in the right standards.
