Pomona Mexican Food Is Quite Tasty

By Cherry Mercer

People who already know about Pomona Mexican food have a lot of fun visiting the various restaurants. There's something for every taste, whether you prefer extra-spicy or a mild chili and cheese plate. You can drive through town and look at all the options, or check local listings to find out what's out there. It's also easy to do an Internet search, where you'll even be able to see some menus.

Go with a simple place that has casual seating and food that tastes like it was prepared south of the border. You'll have a choice of specialty dishes and unique recipes that you have never tasted before. You can also go for a night on the town that starts with a high-class restaurant with a great atmosphere and stylized recipes that will make you want to come back again and again.

Many locations offer all three of the day's meals. Start with breakfast that has eggs, meat and potatoes prepared with a Mexican flair. There are plenty of American restaurants that serve breakfast burritos, but the kind that are made in Mexico have a totally different flavor.

If what you're ready for is lunch, you can find fare that is light or filling. A couple of small tacos might be just what you need, or you may be in the mood for a combination plate with an entree that includes rice and beans. Depending on what you have planned for the rest of the day, you could also have a specialty beer or a frosty margarita.

There are some who say the best meal is dinner, and that may be true for many of these restaurants. They might bring in live musicians and serve with a special flair. Get some interesting appetizers or just have the chips and salsa. The salsa will be made fresh that day, and the chips are usually made from scratch, too.

The menus often list a wide variety of entrees, or you can choose to mix and match some dishes. If you can't make up your mind just ask the waiter or waitress. That person will tell you about everything you need to know, and they'll give you hints about how to eat some of the dishes. One example is taking the tortillas on the side and filling them with meat from your plate.

There are many choices that have been satisfying American palates for a very long time. The names of foods that come from Mexico might not be easy to remember, but you'll often see photographs on the menu or get answers from the server. Someone might have Ranch Eggs for breakfast, a Green Chili Pork burrito for lunch, and a chicken enchiladas for dinner.

If you haven't tried Pomona Mexican food you're in for a treat. Let the server know about your tastes, for example whether you like your food spicy or mild. Try something daring, like a sauce that is made with chocolate and poured over chicken. It sounds unusual, but it's less sweet and more delicious than you can imagine. Make a reservation or walk in to a restaurant tonight for a fabulous dining experience.
