Allowing EV Olive Oil For Frying Purposes

By Robert Sutter

I know what you're probably thinking: the title cannot possibly be right. After all, EV olive oil is viewed as one of the most healthful oils imaginable and it's not like it's commonly used for high temperatures. Why is it, then, that the idea of frying would be suggested? Even though there may be a couple of concerns on the matter, I'd like to set the record straight and give my viewpoint as to why frying can be done with this particular type of oil.

Anyone can agree with the fact that EV olive oil is one of the more healthful types of oil to consider but is taste going to mean much? I believe this to be the case and you can be certain that this can come into any dish and enhance the flavor almost immediately. You should also take into account that moisture will be had as well, though just enough to help elevate taste. As you can tell, there are many aspects to consider and authorities the likes of Bellucci Premium will agree.

As you can see, it is more than worth cooking with this substance but keep in mind the idea of temperature. For those who may not be aware, this type of oil has a certain smoke point that it should not reach or else the oil itself will go bad. This means that all of the antioxidants associated with it fade so that you're left with a product that isn't nearly as healthy for you as it once was. Make sure you're mindful of the temperature when you're preparing anything.

You may think that fried foods will absorb oil either way, meaning that you will not be able to attain all of the healthful properties associated with it. However, I'd like to say that the temperature of the oil, if warm enough, does not have to go through this process. Foods that are properly fried are the ones that you have to thank for this. Make sure that these elements are kept in place so that you do wind up with products which may have too much moisture.

It seems like there are shreds of doubt when it comes to frying with EV olive oil but I am not sure how valid they truly are. After all, this is easily one of the best oil types you can take into your dietary regimen and it seems like being able to deep-fry is a possibility. However, only those who are mindful of the many aspects of the cooking process will benefit from it. Smoke points and all, do not make the mistake of assuming that this oil type cannot work.
