Could Tuscan Olive Oil Serve a More Filling Diet?

By Rob Sutter

I think that it's no secret by now that Tuscan olive oil is one of the more fulfilling items that anyone can bring into their diets. This is for a good reason, too, considering that it's a low-fat kind of oil that can be used for a number of purposes. Of course, many people associate it with culinary purposes, which is the idea of this piece. In spite of what people might have thought beforehand, this kind of oil may just prove itself to be beneficial to a more filling diet.

I read on Voxxi about how Tuscan olive oil - as well as other variations of it - can actually bring about a better sense of fullness. It's been said that this comes from the low-fat properties of the oil that companies such as Unaprol endorse. There was a study done involving the usage of yogurt in order to put this theory to test. Once this yogurt was infused with this oil and then consumed during the study in question, to be frank, some strong results came to fruition.

I believe one of the more notable results of this study was within the blood. According to the article, there was a higher concentration of serotonin, which was a satiety hormone. In essence, people who consumed the yogurt in the experiment reported that they had felt fuller than how they might have felt otherwise. Living up to this oil's reputation, the study group also showed no increase in body fat or weight. It's clear that this experiment had done well and I think that the fullness factor will bring in new consumers.

The article also went into a separate topic which may actually help people in the psychological sense. Supposedly, a diet rich in this kind of oil can actually help protect consumers from mental illness. This oil can definitely help against depression but it's not like this is the first time it came about. Back in 2009, Spanish researchers went about proving that a diet high in this oil as well as produce and beans can cause fewer people to fall into states of chronic depression.

Olive oil has definitely piqued my interest long ago but it's these kinds of stories that keep the subject at such a high level. This oil deserves to be utilized by everyone, regardless of whether it's made for your typical cooking purposes or eating bread of vegetables along with it, to name a couple of examples. It's apparent that this oil is useful for a number of ways. Maybe meals can be made more often with this and lead those who eat them to become fuller.
