Red Hot Bhut Jolokia Sauce

Bhut Jolokia sauce is made with Bhut Jolokia chili peppers, the hottest peppers on the world, according to Guinness book of Records. They are so hot that you won't believe it, more than four hundred times stronger than another popular spice, known as Tabasco. Of course, there are some other ingredients there, such as onions, garlic and different spices.

This small red pepper, also known as Ghost pepper, probably origins from India. Although this plant is known there for ages, it became popular in Western world in 2000. Until then, a pepper known as Red Savina Habanero was believed to be the hottest. Well, this little thing is at least twice as hot.

Bhut Jolokia red hot chili pepper has an unique taste, color and aroma. Even its smell is so powerful you just won't be able to resist it. Unbelievably small amount is more than enough to spice up your meals, and transform it into something you will never forget. There is only one really important thing you should remember when dealing with Ghosts. You should always wear gloves while touching these peppers.

Aromatic and hot, thanks to its most important ingredient, known by the name Capsaicin; this plant also has numerous benefits on human health. It can be used in pain treatment, especially when it comes to joint and muscle pain, as well as arthritis pains. It is also very effective in sinus and headache pain relief, and even in fighting several types of cancer.

There are several studies showing great results in the treatment of different cardiovascular diseases, in lowering blood pressure, even in the treatment of different digestion problems, because it really affects natural cleansing processes. Capsaicin is added to various dietary products to improve their effectiveness. All this makes it more than desirable addition in all types of products designed or losing weight.

There are so many recipes using this amazing little pepper. You should certainly try some of them. You can find dried Ghost peppers, or buy them in form of flakes, powder or even oil. You can easily make your own oil. There are two basic ways of preparing this oil. The first one is to place one or two peppers in a dish and cover it with your favorite oil. Leave it in your oven for an hour or so. You will get perfectly scented oil if you pour some olive oil in a small bottle, together with your peppers.

Making salsa is extremely easy. You need to dehydrate your Ghosts first, if you have dried ones. Cook them in small amount of water for a while. Cold mixture you should place in your blender, add fresh or maybe canned whole tomatoes, some vinegar, white one, of course, a little bit of garlic and some sea salt. Add your favorite herbs if you like, and you are ready to go.

Bhut Jolokia sauce is easy to prepare. You will need one or two Ghost peppers, chopped onions, one or two cloves of garlic, some olive oil and a can of whole tomatoes. Fry your chopped onions on some olive oil for a few minutes, then add other chopped ingredients. Season with a little bit of sea salt and cook for approximately 30 minutes on low heat. You can add different spices of your choice.
